About Split PDF by File Size
Many upload portals set a strict file-size limit, such as 5 MB, 10 MB, or 20 MB. Splitting a PDF by file size helps when a document is too large but you still want to keep pages in their original order.
The tool builds consecutive page chunks and checks the saved size of each candidate PDF. When adding another page would exceed your target, it starts a new output file. If a single page is already larger than the target, that page is saved by itself because it cannot be split smaller without compression or image rewriting.
Pages are copied instead of rendered as images, so the process is private and avoids unnecessary quality loss. For exact page ranges, use Split PDF; if the result is still too large, try Compress PDF before submitting.
