What you should know

Exporting PDF pages as images is useful for presentations, social media, or when you need a visual reference that cannot be easily edited. PNG gives you transparency and sharp text; JPG is smaller and works almost everywhere.

  • PNG for text and diagrams — lossless quality keeps edges crisp at any zoom level.
  • JPG for photos and scans — smaller file sizes when the page is mostly bitmap content.
  • DPI controls output size — 150 DPI is fine for screens; 300 DPI is better for print.

This batch tool processes multiple PDFs at once, applying the same operation to every file you upload. It runs entirely in your browser — files are never sent to a server — and results are packaged for easy download.

  • Upload multiple files — drag and drop a folder or select individual PDFs to process in one go.
  • Same settings for all files — configure the operation once and it is applied uniformly across the batch.
  • Results packaged for download — processed files are bundled into a ZIP archive for convenience.

About PDF to Image

Images are easier to embed in presentations, social media, and web pages than PDFs. Converting PDF pages to PNG or JPEG also gives you a visual snapshot that cannot be edited by mistake. This is useful for slides, screenshots, and previews.

PNG is lossless and keeps text and diagrams sharp, making it ideal for documents with fine details. JPEG is smaller and works well for photo-heavy or scanned pages. You can choose the DPI to balance quality and file size: 150 DPI is fine for screens, 300 DPI is better for print.

All rendering happens in your browser. The PDF is never uploaded, so sensitive documents stay private. Each page is rendered as a separate image and packaged into a ZIP for easy download.

After conversion, text is no longer selectable or editable. If you need editable text, use PDF to Word instead. For converting images back to PDF, use Image to PDF.
