About Duplex Scan Reorder

Duplex scan reordering solves a common scanner workflow: you scan all front sides first, flip the stack, then scan all back sides. The resulting PDF often has the front pages grouped together and the back pages grouped together, so the document reads out of order.

This tool rebuilds the page sequence by interleaving the front-page group with the back-page group. It supports one PDF that contains both passes, or two PDFs when the front and back scans were saved separately. Most second-pass scans need the back pages reversed, but you can also keep them in the same order.

The operation copies PDF pages instead of rasterizing them. That helps preserve text, images, and file size, and it keeps the workflow private because the file is processed in your browser. After reordering, you can use Duplex Print Helper for page parity or PDF Scan Cleanup Kit to inspect scan quality.
