About PDF Repair Lite
PDF Repair Lite is a conservative repair attempt for files that are still readable but behave oddly in some PDF viewers. It opens the PDF in the browser, copies readable pages into a fresh document, and saves a rewritten copy.
This can help with some page-tree or object-structure issues, but it is not a forensic recovery tool. If a file is encrypted, badly corrupted, missing required objects, or cannot be parsed by the browser, the tool will show an error instead of claiming a successful repair.
Because the repair attempt runs locally, the original PDF never leaves your device. If the rewritten file opens but is still too large, try Compress PDF. If pages are out of order after recovery, use Organize PDF.
