About Resize PDF
Resizing a PDF helps when documents need a consistent paper size for printing, binding, or uploading to portals that expect A4, Letter, or Legal pages. The tool creates a new PDF with each original page centered inside the selected output size.
The default fit behavior scales content to stay inside the chosen margin without intentionally cropping anything. This is useful for normalizing mixed page sizes, adding print margins, or turning oversized pages into standard paper.
Because pages are embedded as PDF content rather than converted to screenshots, text and vector artwork should remain sharp. Complex forms, annotations, or interactive elements should still be reviewed after resizing because PDF readers can handle them differently.
For a practical cleanup workflow, crop excess margins, resize to A4 or Letter, then compress the PDF if the result is too large.
