Rotate, merge, and reorder pages visually

Need to rotate specific pages, merge documents, or reorder pages with a visual thumbnail view? PDFelement makes it easy.

What you should know

Batch rotation fixes orientation for multiple scanned files at once. It is especially useful after digitizing a stack of documents where some pages were fed upside-down. Each file is processed independently, so settings apply uniformly.

  • Same angle for all files — batch rotation applies one rotation value to every uploaded PDF.
  • Files stay separate — unlike merge, each PDF is saved as its own rotated file.
  • Test one file first — if your scans are mixed orientations, a single angle will not fix all of them.

This batch tool processes multiple PDFs at once, applying the same operation to every file you upload. It runs entirely in your browser — files are never sent to a server — and results are packaged for easy download.

  • Upload multiple files — drag and drop a folder or select individual PDFs to process in one go.
  • Same settings for all files — configure the operation once and it is applied uniformly across the batch.
  • Results packaged for download — processed files are bundled into a ZIP archive for convenience.

About Batch Rotate PDF

Scanning a stack of documents often produces a mix of orientations. Some pages are portrait, some landscape, some upside-down. Batch rotation fixes the same angle for every file at once, saving you from opening each PDF individually.

Upload all the files you want to fix, choose the rotation angle, and download the corrected PDFs as a ZIP archive. The operation is metadata-based and lossless, so text and images stay sharp. Each PDF is processed separately, so the original files remain unchanged.

Because everything runs in your browser, your documents are never uploaded. This is safe for HR files, legal bundles, and other confidential archives. Batch rotation is a good first step before merging or compressing scanned documents.

Batch rotation applies the same angle to every file. If your scans are mixed orientations, a single angle will not fix all of them. In that case, process files individually with Rotate PDF.
