About Batch Encrypt PDF
Batch encryption protects multiple PDFs with the same open password. It is useful when you have a set of documents that all need the same level of protection, such as client proposals, HR files, or internal reports.
Upload your PDFs, set the password once, and apply it to the entire batch. The encryption runs in your browser using pdf-lib, so neither the files nor the password are uploaded to a server.
Choose a strong password with at least 8 characters mixing letters, numbers, and symbols. Remember that anyone with the password can open and edit the files, so share the password securely.
For single-file encryption, use Encrypt PDF. For removing passwords later, use Decrypt PDF.
